Sh. Yajuvender Singh, born to Smt. Shailaja Singh and Sh. Kanwar Bhupender Singh, on 17.05.1976 in village Mohal, District Kullu. Matriculated from Our Lady of the Snows High School and did his 12th from SRML Senior Secondary School Jammu. Did his graduation from D.A.V College Sector 10, Chandigarh, L.L.B from Punjab University Chandigarh in the year 2001. Practiced as a lawyer at District Courts Kullu and thereafter, joined Himachal Pradesh Judicial Services in the year 2003 as Judicial Magistrate Court No. 1 Dharamshala, District Kangra. Upon further transfers, served as Judicial Magistrate Chachiot at Gohar, District Mandi, Court No. 2, 3 & 4 District Una and Joginder Nagar, District Mandi. Upon promotion and transfer, served as Additional Chief Judicial Magistrate-cum-Senior Civil Judge Court No. 1 Sunder Nagar, District Mandi, Court No. 1 Kasauli, District Solan and Court No. 1 Rohru, District Shimla. Upon my placement as Chief Judicial Magistrate, served as Chief Judicial Magistrate-cum-Senior Civil Judge, Kinnaur at Reckong Peo w.e.f. 10.01.2019 to 24.05.2019 and thereafter, as Senior Civil Judge-cum-CJM, Kangra at Dharamshala from 27.05.2019 to 29.11.2021. Upon promotion and transfer, assumed the charge of Additional District and Sessions Judge, Fast Track Special Court (Rape/POCSO), Mandi on 09.12.2021. Thereafter, (on deputation) served as Secretary, Supreme Court Legal Services Commitee (SCLSC) from 06.01.2022 to 31.12.2022. Subsequently, served as Officer on Special Duty (OSD) and then as Director, National Legal Services Authority (NALSA) from 01.01.2023 to 09.04.2024. On repatriation, joined as Officer on Special Duty (OSD) in the Registry of the Hon’ble High Court of H.P. on 10.04.2024, and presently, upon transfer, assumed the charge of Additional District and Sessions Judge, Kinnaur at Rampur Bushahr on 09.05.2024.
